MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN Season 3 Drops a New Opening Sequence Packed With Villains, Heroes, and Some Big DC Teases

Fans of My Adventures with Superman are just days away from the long-awaited Season 3 premiere, and Adult Swim has released a brand-new opening sequence that offers a fun glimpse at what's coming next for Clark Kent and company.

While the series has already built a strong reputation for putting a fresh spin on Superman mythology, the latest intro suggests the upcoming season is about to raise the stakes in a big way.

Since the series debuted, My Adventures with Superman has followed a younger Clark Kent alongside Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen as they begin their careers at the Daily Planet.

Across the first two seasons, viewers have watched Clark evolve into the hero fans know and love while facing increasingly dangerous threats. Now Season 3 looks ready to continue that journey with new allies, new enemies, and some intriguing additions to the cast.

The biggest change in the new opening sequence is the prominent inclusion of Kara Zor-El. After the events of Season 2, Kara has officially become part of the core team, and the updated intro makes it clear that her relationship with Clark, Lois, and Jimmy will play a major role moving forward.

The opening also sneaks in a quick look at another familiar DC character. Superboy appears briefly with a surprising new design, offering the first real tease of how the animated series plans to handle the character. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but it's enough to get longtime Superman fans talking.

Of course, the real attention-grabber is the lineup of villains featured throughout the sequence. Season 3's opening showcases several major threats waiting for Superman, including a fully bald Lex Luthor, who appears to be stepping further into his classic comic book persona. But Lex isn't the only danger on the horizon.

The intro also highlights Cyborg Superman, who has already been teased for the upcoming season and appears poised to play a significant role in the show's adaptation of the iconic Reign of the Supermen storyline.

Exactly how the series will reinterpret that famous comic arc remains a mystery, but the appearance of Cyborg Superman certainly points toward some exciting developments.

With multiple villains flashing across the screen and several new characters entering the mix, the opening sequence feels like a roadmap for what could be the series' most ambitious season yet.

The show's core cast returns with Jack Quaid voicing Clark Kent/Superman, Alice Lee as Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen. Kiana Madeira is also back as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, this time with a much larger role following her Season 2 introduction.

Another notable addition is Darren Criss, who joins the series as the voice of Superboy. Beyond that, the creative team is keeping any additional surprises under wraps for now.

Thankfully, fans won't have to wait much longer to see how everything unfolds. My Adventures with Superman Season 3 premieres on Adult Swim's Toonami block on Saturday, June 13 at midnight ET/PT. New episodes will then be available to stream on HBO Max the following day.
