Nathan Fillion Seems To Be Teasing an Upcoming UNCHARTED Announcement
It looks like Nathan Fillion is teasing some kind of announcement soon that may be connected to the Uncharted franchise. The actor has expressed interest in playing Nathan Drake in a film adaptation for years! It's also something that the fans would love to see.
I seriously doubt that Fillion will be playing Nathan Drake in an Uncharted movie, after all, there's already a movie in development with Tom Holland set to play a young version of the character. Bryan Cranston is also wanted for the film, which Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) is set to direct.
But, Fillion does seem to be teasing some kind of Uncharted announcement by posting clues on his Instagram. The first image shows the rapper Drake, which comes with the caption "Sic Parvis Magna," which means "greatness from small beginning." This phrase is significant because it has been mentioned several times over the course of the Uncharted franchise. The post also included the date of July 16th, 2018.
The second image Fillion shared shows an Uncharted-style map with a magnifying glass and the same date of July 16th. I imagine the date is the time that the big reveal comes of what all this means.
Maybe he will be voicing the character in an animated series? Maybe he'll be involved with the movie in some way? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. What do you think this all means?
