NATIONAL TREASURE 3 May Still Happen

Roughly nine years ago, we reported that Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro were writing a script for National Treasure 3. It’s been a long time, but that movie has recently been in headlines again. The reason is because in the annual shareholders meeting that recently happened, Bob Iger was asked about it.

Iger reportedly responded by saying that producers and executives talk about the project, but “nothing has been greenlit.” This could be for a plethora of reasons, and I’m sure one is due to scheduling.

I really liked the first National Treasure film and was entertained by the second. I just don’t know what they’d do in National Treasure 3. This could also be a perfect film for Disney+.
