Nerdist Creates Fun Trailer for Nonexistent KNIVES OUT and MUPPETS Mashup Movie

I love the Muppets. I love Knives Out and Glass Onion. Why not combine the two? Many others have considered this idea and it’s definitely a very fun thought experiment. Rian Johnson has even said that he’s considered it, but ultimately decided against it. I think his rationale is solid. I do love the idea of Daniel Craig being a guest on a Muppet show and he’s then murdered so they call Benoit Blanc in to solve his murder, though. That all being said, Nerdist has made a brief video titled Rainbow Connection - A Benoit Blanc Mystery (using the updated subtitle that Johnson would like to use and that I think makes more sense). This takes footage from both Knives Out films and various Muppet films to create a trailer for a mashup movie. I love this. There are parts that are a little weaker than others, but I think it works so well overall. I think one of my favorite jokes is that they list Dave Bautista as playing Bunsen.
