Netflix and Hasbro Release New MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: ONCE & ALWAYS Key Art

On April 19, Netflix and Hasbro will be unleashing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. This is the 30th anniversary special and fans are stoked! We’ll see the return of several previous Rangers including David Yost as Billy Cranston, Catherine Sutherland as Kat Hillard, Johnny Yong Bosch as Adam Park, Karan Ashley as Aisha Campbell, Walter Emanuel Jones as Zack Taylor, and Steve Cardenas as Rocky DeSantos. Plus, we will get to meet Trini’s daughter Minh who will be played by Charlie Kersh.

[The Rangers come] face to face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary mantra from the franchise 'Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger,' Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you are always a part of the Ranger family and always welcome.

There’s still a ton of mystery surrounding Once & Always, but some new key art was recently released which is very interesting. First, we have six classic Ranger characters in the cast, plus a new character yet the key art only highlights four of them: Billy, Zack, Kat, and Rocky in their Mighty Morphin suits. In previous photos we’ve seen Aisha and Adam wearing uniforms reminiscent of S.P.D. and we know that they say S.P.A., so I wonder if that plus the new key art is sharing that they won’t be morphing for the special. The key art also gives us a look at what appears to be a machine version of Rita Repulsa. It’s already been revealed that Barbara Goodson will be reprising her role to voice Rita Repulsa and this is our first look at what to expect from the villain. I definitely get Machine Empire vibes which is exciting.

Are you excited to watch Once & Always? What are your theories about the special?
