New Action-Packed Trailer Liam Neeson's THE COMMUTER
It’s fun to see the evolution of a movie’s trailers. The first one is always a tease to get you thinking and then from there, it gives you more and more (hopefully without giving away the whole movie). For The Commuter I felt like the first trailer was a tease just barely introducing us to the concept of the movie. Liam Neeson will play a man by the name of Michael who talks to this new person on the train and then crap hits the fan. The second trailer felt more dramatic with the music and Neeson’s lines at the beginning. It then leads to showing more of the thriller aspects of this movie. Enter the latest trailer, Trailer #3. This one goes Taken on us. I watched this trailer and felt like it was Taken on a train. Turn down the thriller from Trailer #2 and turn up the “Liam Neeson Kicks Everyone’s Butt” dial. I know I'm very interested in this film after getting all three of these trailers.
Before you watch the trailer, here’s the synopsis to get you caught up:
“In this action-packed thriller, Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes, for himself and his fellow passengers.”
The Commuter hits theaters January 12, 2018.
