AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Reshoots Reportedly Include Major Character-Focused Scenes and Returning Heroes

We are less than nine months away from the release of Avengers: Doomsday, one of the most anticipated Marvel movies in quite a while.

The film will bring back together tons of the superheroes we have missed throughout the last phase, as well as uniting some of the newer characters that we haven’t seen interact yet on the big screen. The cast list that has been announced it exciting on its own, but we are also anticipating some surprises.

A new update on reshoots has been announced, which are set to take place from April through the end of May. This all adds up, as last month, Red Guardian actor David Harbour revealed that he would be returning to London soon for reshoots, and scooper MAJESTIC_ucm has indicated that Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) will also be taking part in some additional photography.

Now, in a new Patreon post, inside scooper Daniel Richtman revealed that most of the Doomsday reshoots will be for new character-focused scenes. It will be cool to see all these characters back together again, and in many cases, interacting for the first time.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026. Who are you most excited to see together on the big screen?
