New CAPTAIN MARVEL Promo Spot and Photo Featuring Jude Law's Kree Character
Marvel Studios has released a new promo spot for Captain Marvel for fans to enjoy along with a new photo featuring Jude Law as his mysterious Kree character.
There’s been a lot of back and forth information on who Jude Law is playing in the film. At first it was speculated that he was playing Mar-Vell, then it was revealed that he may or may not be playing another character, which would be a spoiler.
CBR recently reported that Captain Marvel’s official website confirmed that Jude Law is indeed playing Mar-Vell, “the leader of Starforce” in the movie, but then they deleted the information from the website, so who knows. I’m not sure why they feel they have to keep his identity a secret if he is playing Mar-Vell. It doesn’t seem like a big deal.
There’s got to be more to his character than meets the eye. Anyway, enjoy the new promo spot below!
Captain Marvel is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind). The most recent script comes from Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Tomb Raider). The film also stars Brie Larson, Clark Gregg, who will reprise his role as Agent Coulson, and Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou, who will be back as the Kree character Ronan the Accuser and his henchman Korath the Pursuer.
The movie is set to be released on March 8th, 2019.
