New CAPTAIN MARVEL Promo Spot Teases Skrull Shapeshifting and More
We’ve got a brand new promo spot for Captain Marvel to share with you that offers up some new footage that you might want to check out. Some of that new footage teases what it will look like when the Skrulls shapeshift. There’s also a few bits of other new footage as well.
While some fans don’t seem to be excited for this movie, I’ve recently heard that it’s a great film from some acquaintances who have seen it. I’m pretty stoked about seeing this one, and I hope that it’s really as awesome as I’ve heard it is.
I also included a WNBA promo spot that is part of the "What Makes A Hero" campaign which is meant to inspire girls and women to become superheroes in their every life. WNBA COO Christy Hedgpeth said:
“Women like Captain Marvel and our WNBA players define and inspire our own version of superhero in their everyday lives through their strength, speed and power. Whether that’s through basketball or striving to be the best they can be in the community, our players are inspiring examples of everyday heroes.”
Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
The movie stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Yon-Rogg, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Annette Bening in a mystery role, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Clarke Gregg as Agent Coulson, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, and Goose the cat.
Captain Marvel is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind) and is set to be released on March 8th, 2019.
