New Clip from Netflix’s ONE PEICE Season 2 Teases Captain Smoker's Epic Arrival

Netflix has released a clip for One Piece Season 2, giving fans their first official glimpse of Callum Kerr as Captain Smoker.

The new video, shared on X by the official One Piece account, was captioned, “From the haze of Loguetown’s docks, justice rolls in! Captain Smoker has arrived!” T

he clip shows Kerr’s Smoker cruising through the fog on his trademark Billower Bike, instantly commanding the screen. Dressed in his signature Marine coat and puffing on two cigars, Kerr’s transformation looks spot-on, straight out of the anime.

In another brief moment from the clip, fans get a look at Smoker’s trusted subordinate, Tashigi, played by Julia Rehwald, standing beside him.

Kerr celebrated his casting in One Piece back in June 2024, sharing his enthusiasm on Instagram: “Been waiting to share this one…. Excited and thankful to be joining @onepiecenetflix as Smoker. All that cigar smoking practice is finally coming in handy 😉 Let’s go!!”

Season 2 brings back the core cast from the breakout first season, including Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero, Taz Skylar, Mikaela Hoover, and Charithra Chandran.

With production values higher than ever and Oda himself involved in the creative process, fans are expecting an even more ambitious adventure.

The official synopsis reads: “Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”

The first season of the live-action One Piece series was awesome and when it premiered in 2023, it won over both skeptics and longtime fans. With its renewal already confirmed for Season 3, Netflix clearly has big plans for this pirate saga.

And now, with Captain Smoker officially rolling into view, the Marines are here, and things are about to get wild in Loguetown.

The live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s legendary anime is returning to Netflix on March 10, 2026, and this clip has the fandom fired up for what’s next on the Grand Line.
