New DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Featurette Breaks Down Episode 6’s Savage Fight Scenes

Last week's drop of two new Daredevil: Born Again episodes gave fans plenty to chew on, but it’s Episode 6, “Excessive Force,” that came out swinging and pulled no punches.

It’s the episode that sees Matt Murdock finally don the cowl again, and it culminates in one of the most intense dual-action climaxes the series has offered so far.

In one corner, we have Daredevil tracking the unhinged serial killer known as Muse, who’s abducted Angela Ayala and is in the process of draining her blood. In the other, we cut between that fight and Wilson Fisk, now Mayor of New York, letting loose some deeply personal rage on Adam—his wife Vanessa’s lover.

Now, a newly released behind-the-scenes featurette pulls back the curtain on how those visceral sequences were crafted, with insight from Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and stunt coordinator Philip Silvera.

The way the scenes are edited, cutting back and forth between Daredevil’s desperate heroism and Fisk’s emotional breakdown, isn’t just about the brutality. It’s a reflection of where these two men are in their lives. One is rediscovering his purpose. The other is spiraling into deeper darkness.

So yes, fists fly and blood spills. But underneath the bloody chaos, there's a great story with strong character development.
