New Rumor Backs Up Claim That AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Will Feature Love Triangle Storyline

Six months ago, we shared an Avengers: Doomsday rumor from scooper @MyTimeToShineH that teased a connection between two unexpected characters in the upcoming film.

The rumor stated that "Namor and Sue share a lot of scenes together in the desert you see in the leaked [fourth] teaser."

In the comics, Namor the Sub-Mariner has a romantic interest in the Fantastic Four's most powerful member, Sue Storm. While the Invisible Woman has obviously remained loyal to her husband, Reed Richards, she has occasionally been flattered by the King of Atlantis' affections.

Now we have another report that backs up that initial claim. Scooper James Mack also claims the film might explore a love triangle involving Reed Richards, Sue Storm, and Namor.

His report also says the film features a scene in which Sue is in Namor’s arms as he flies over the ocean. However, this remains an unverified rumor and should be treated as such, as Marvel Studios has not revealed any official plot details for the film.
