New Rumor Claims to Reveal Seth Rogen's Mystery Character in DC's SUPERGIRL

The first test screening for Supergirl took place last week, and fans have heard quite a bit of insight from those in attendance.

Some highlights included details about the character Lobo, the first runtime was revealed, some noted an “underwhelming” villain, and the film’s star, Milly Alcock, was praised for her portrayal of the title character. Now, we have one more bit of info to think about ahead of the film’s release.

In a recent reveal from industry scooper Daniel Richtman, he explains that the screening revealed that Seth Rogen, whose part in the film has been shrouded in mystery, is playing "a small alien guy who helps run a space bus," adding that he's "kinda funny" in the movie.

While Rogen has been careful about his association with superhero movies, it’s not a genre he completely shies away from, as he has previously worked on Preacher, The Boys, and Invincible. And playing a funny little alien is pretty low-stakes for the actor with the distinct and recognizable vocals.

Alcock stars in the movie as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, a reluctant hero, alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa. Craig Gillespie directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira.

Supergirl arrives in theaters on June 26, 2026.
