New Teaser Trailer for Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa's MONSTER HUNTER Features a Giant Rathalos Creature
Another brief new teaser has been shared for director Paul WS Anderson’s upcoming film Monster Hunter. The footage was shared during the NYCC virtual panel for the film, and it features a giant Rathalos creature tearing apart a plane that is transporting Milla Jovovich‘s character Artemis.
In the story, Artemis is transported to another realm populated by monsters. There she meets a character named Hunter in this world, who is played by Tony Jaa. The two end up teaming up to fight to close a portal to prevent monsters from invading earth. From what I’ve seen from this film in this teaser and the last one, the movie looks like it could be a lot of fun! I’m always up for watching Jovovich kick ass!
Here’s the synopsis:
Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.
Monster Hunter is set to be released in theaters in December 2020.
