New Teaser Trailer For Pixar's INSIDE OUT 2 Sees Anxiety Move In
Disney has released a new teaser trailer for Pixar’s Inside Out 2 and it puts a focus on anxiety moving into Riley's mind while playing hockey. Things look like they're going to get really confusing and messy for the other emotions with anxiety around.
In the sequel: “The little voices inside Riley's head know her inside and out—but next summer, everything changes. Pixar's Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who've long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren't sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she's not alone.”
The emotions in Riley’s brain include Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Fear (Tony Hale), and Anger (Lewis Black). Then there’s Anxiety, who is voiced by Maya Hawke.
Pixar still hasn't revealed the other new characters that will be in the movie yet. Director Kelsey Mann says Anxiety “might be new to the crew, but she's not really the type to take a back seat. That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds."
Inside Out 2 is set to release in theaters on June 14, 2024.
