Wicked Cool New Trailer For CASTLEVANIA: NOCTURNE Season 2 - "This Time, Evil Doesn't Have To Win"

Netflix has released a great new trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2, which is only a few days away from making its big premiere.

The trailer teases the continuing journey of Richter Belmont's band of vampire hunters as they prepare for to battle against the Vampire Messiah and make a valiant attempt to prevent the end of the world.

Some of the new footage features the vampire hunter making their way to Paris, where war is about to break out. This next season of the series looks awesome!

In Season 2, “The legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont, and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time.

“Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.”

The gory and gothic adventures of the Castlevania franchise continue with a “gripping story of love and loss, Nocturne marks an evolution to the original fan-favorite Castlevania Netflix Series. Featuring a never before seen origin story of Richter Belmont (gaming icon, and one of the Franchise’s most beloved characters).”

The series is set hundreds of years after the events of the first series and it follows the character Richter, “a descendant of the Belmont family, popularized in the iconic Symphony of Night and Blood of Rondo Castlevania games.”

Richter is a descendant of vampire slayer Trevor Belmont and the mage Sypha Belnades. The story is set in 1792 and it will tell the story of his vampire-hunting adventures during the French Revolution.

Richter will be joined by Maria Renard, another familiar character from the games. She is a powerful magic user with her own distant connection to the Belmont legacy.

Nocturne stars the voices of Edward Bluemel as Richter Belmont, Pixie Davies as Maria Renard, Thuso Mbedu as Annette, Nastassja Kinski as Tera Renard, Sydney James Harcourt as Edouard, Richard Dormer as the Abbot Emmanuel, Aaron Neil as Mizrak, Franka Potente as Erzsebet Báthory/Sekhmet, Elarica Johnson as Drolta Tzuentes, Sophie Skelton as Julia Belmont, and Iain Glen as Juste Belmont. Additionally, James Callis reprises his role as Alucard from the previous Castlevania series.

The series comes from showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde. It’s set to be released on January 16, 2025.
