New Trailer for Chris Evans and Emily Blunt's Pharmaceutical Drug Pushing Film PAIN HUSTLERS

Netflix has released the full trailer for its upcoming pharmaceutical drug crime film Pain Hustlers. There have been a lot of projects coming out recently about the evils of the pharmaceutical industry, and how they get away with murder for profit.

This new film stars Chris Evans and Emily Blunt, and the story follows “Liza Drake (Blunt)… a blue-collar single mom who has just lost her job and is at the end of her rope. A chance meeting with pharmaceutical sales rep Pete Brenner (Evans) puts her on an upwards trajectory economically but dubious path ethically as she becomes entangled in a dangerous racketeering scheme. Dealing with her increasingly unhinged boss (Andy Garcia), the worsening medical condition of her daughter (Chloe Coleman), and a growing awareness of the devastation the company is causing forces Liza to examine her choices. Pain Hustlers is a sharp and revealing look at what some people do out of desperation and others do out of greed.”

Pain Hustlers is directed by Harry Potter franchise director David Yates and produced by Lawrence Grey. It also stars Jay Duplass, Brian d’Arcy James, Amit Shah, Aubrey Dollar, and Willie Raysor.

The film is inspired by Evan Hughes’ New York Times article of the same name, and it’s set to release in select theaters on October 20th and on Netflix on October 27th.
