New Trailer For Kristen Stewart's Hardcore Revenge Thriller LOVE LIES BLEEDING
A24 has released a new trailer for Kristen Stewart's upcoming violent and unhinged romantic crime revenge thriller Love Lies Bleeding.
In the film, Stewart plays a reclusive gym manager named Lou who falls hard for Jackie (Katy M. O’Brian, from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Mandalorian), “an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Las Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.”
Lou’s father, who is played by Ed Harris, is the head of a criminal organization. As you’ll see, things turn into violent and bloody chaos. The film also stars Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) and Dave Franco (Now You See Me).
Corrin’s Sundance review of the film says: “Love Lies Bleeding goes over the top in every way, at times to the point of comedy. There are some fantastical elements that had me rolling my eyes and questioning the intended tone of some scenes. But despite a few misses, this highly stylistic, extremely violent, and sometimes uncomfortably sexy movie is a tragic love story worth watching.”
The film was directed by Rose Glass (Saint Maud) from a script that she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. The movie will be released on March 8th, 2024.
