Netflix has released a new trailer for its animated werewolf fantasy adventure series Wolf King, with is an adaptation of the Wereworld book series by Curtis Jobling.

The story is set in a land once subjugated by werelords, and it follows “16-year-old Drew Ferran (voiced by Ceallach Spellman) who realizes he is the last member in a long ancestral line of werewolves.

“He must confront &andoverthrow the tyrannical rule of the Lionlords and take back the throne as the statutory wolf king.”

I’m not familiar with the book; this could be.a fun show to check out. The trailer was much more interesting than the first one, but the animation still looks a bit off.

Wolf King is directed by Tom Brass for Jellyfish Pictures and produced by Angelo Abela, Tim Compton, Curtis Jobling and Barry Quinn for UK indie Lime Pictures.

Wolf King will be released in 2025.
