New Trailer for Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla Presley Film PRISCILLA

A24 has released a full trailer for director Sofia Coppola’s upcoming film Priscilla. This movie is based on the memoir Elvis and Me, which was written by Priscilla Presley, and it tells the story of her life with Elvis Presley. This film will offer a whole new perspective on what Priscilla’s life with Elis was like and as you might imagine, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. It looks like a good movie, though!

Decades after his death, millions of fans continue to worship Elvis the legend. But very few knew him as Elvis the man. Here in her own words, Priscilla Presley tells the story of their love, revealing the details of their first meeting, their marriage, their affairs, their divorce, and the unbreakable bond that has remained long after his tragic death.

When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley at a party, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a gentle best friend. Through Priscilla's eyes, Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla's long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame.

Priscilla stars Cailee Spaeny (On the Basis of Sex, Vice) as the title character, with Elvis being portrayed by Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, The Kissing Booth). The cast also includes Raine Monroe Boland as Lisa Marie Presley, Emily Mitchell as Lisa Marie Presley, Jorja Cadence as Patsy Presley, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll as Alan “Hog Ears” Fortas, Luke Humphrey as Terry West, and Dagmara Domińczyk.

Priscilla is set to hit theaters on November 3rd, 2023.
