New Trailer for SOLAR OPPOSITES Season 5 Focuses on "The Wall" Side Story
Hulu has released a new trailer for Solar Opposites, which is returning for Season 5, and as I was watching the trailer, I was thinking, “Wait… is this Solar Opposites?”
The series has mostly focused on the adventures of the alien characters in the series, but there’s been another story in the background brewing, which is known as “The Wall.”
Throughout the four seasons of the series, there has been a community of little people developing their own societies and Season 5 is teasing the next entry of the saga, which is referred to as “The Yard.”
In this side story, Cherie and those who escaped in the fourth season are now coming across all sorts of new challenges as they start their new lives in the backyard.
Solar Opposites “centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff.
In season five, “now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the whole Solar Opposites team are focused on family values.”
This season sees Dan Stevens taking on the role of Korvo. Solar Opposites is executive-produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.
Solar Opposites Season 5 premieres on August 12 with all 11 episodes, with a Halloween special coming later this year.
