New Trailer for the Action Series CITADEL: DIANA From Producers the Russo Brothers
Prime Video has released a full trailer for the upcoming international action series Citadel: Diana, which is the next spin-off of the Russo Bros. "global Citadel universe."
This next film in the franchise is set in 2030 in Milan, Italy. “Eight years ago, the independent global spy agency Citadel was destroyed by the powerful enemy syndicate, known as Manticore.
“Since then, Diana Cavalieri (Matilda De Angelis), an undercover Citadel agent, is alone, trapped behind enemy lines as a mole in Manticore.
“When she finally sees a way out and the chance to disappear forever, the only way to do so is trusting the most unexpected ally, Edo Zani (Lorenzo Cervasio), the heir of Manticore Italy and son of the head of the Italian syndicate, Ettore Zani (Maurizio Lombardi), who's vying for leadership against all of the other European families.”
I didn’t like the first Citadel series that was released, but this spinoff actually looks like it might be a better show. The question is, are people actually into watching these Citadel universe shows?
Citadel: Diana is the second series to debut from the world of Citadel, and it will be followed by India’s series, Citadel: Honey Bunny.
Citadel: Diana is showrun and executive produced by Gina Gardini. Directed by Arnaldo Catinari and developed by Alessandro Fabbri – who is also the head writer, and wrote the series with Ilaria Bernardini, Laura Colella, Gianluca Bernardini, and Giordana Mari.
