New Trailer For THE BOYS Spinoff Series GEN V - "Freshman Class is Savage This Year"
Prime Video has released a brutal and bloody full trailer for its upcoming series Gen V, which is the college spinoff series of The Boys. For those of you who enjoy The Boys series and all the wickedly crazy violence, you’re gonna enjoy what Gen V has to offer. This show is not going to hold back on anything.
In fact, producer Seth Rogen previously described Gen V as being “more shocking” and filled with all kinds of “really crazy shit.” You’ll get a little taste of that craziness in this new trailer.
The project is inspired by the G-Men, which is a parody of the X-Men in The Boys comic book series. “Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.”
Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Bones), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann (Caviar), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barbershop), Marco Pigossi (Invisible City), and Clancy Brown.
The series comes from Eric Kripke and it was also announced that it will launch with its first three episodes on September 29th. New episodes will roll out weekly until the Season 1 finale on November 3rd.
