New Trailer Unleashes Bloody Chaos in READY OR NOT 2: HERE I COME With Samara Weaving Back in the Game

Searchlight Pictures has released an awesome new trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and it looks like the gloves are fully off. The action-horror sequel is headed to theaters nationwide this March, bringing back the brutal energy of the 2019 cult favorite while cranking everything to an even more savage level.

The story picks up moments after Grace survives the absolute nightmare inflicted on her by the Le Domas family. This time around, the game doesn’t end with one blood-soaked house.

Grace finds herself dragged into something far bigger, far deadlier, and far more unhinged. She’s now competing in a twisted power struggle that spans multiple rival families, all gunning for control of a mysterious council that literally rules the world. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and things are sure to get brutally bloody.

Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game, and this time it's with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side.

Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.

Samara Weaving is still radiating that perfect mix of panic, fury, and dark humor that made the original such a blast. She’s joined by Kathryn Newton as Faith, adding an emotional wildcard to the chaos.

The cast is absolutely loaded with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, and Daniel Beirne.

The film is once again co-directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the filmmaking duo known collectively as Radio Silence. The screenplay comes from Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, who also wrote the first film.

This new trailer is a bit shorter, but it goes harder. The violence is dialed way up, the set pieces look nastier, and the sibling dynamic adds a fresh layer of tension to the carnage. It feels less like a survival story and more like a full-blown war between psychopaths, with Grace caught right in the middle and fighting like hell to stay standing.

Searchlight Pictures will unleash Ready or Not 2: Here I Come in theaters nationwide on March 20th, 2026.
