New VENOM: THE LAST DANCE Teaser Features First Look at a Brand New Symbiote
A new teaser trailer has been released from the upcoming threequel Venom: The Last Dance. It features several shots from the previous footage we’ve seen, with the exception of a first look at a new symbiote.
Some say this could be Toxin, the Symbiote we saw corrupt detective Pat Mulligan (Stephen Graham) merge with at the end of Let There Be Carnage, but some think that it looks a lot more like Lasher.
Introduced in Venom: Lethal Protector #4 back in the '90s, Lasher was created when seeds were extracted from Venom by the Life Foundation.
One of the young creatures merged with security force officer Ramón Hernández to form Lasher, who became one of the Foundation's "Guardians Symbiotes."
We know that Toxin will appear thanks to the trailer's subtitles, but previous rumors have claimed that other Symbiotes will also factor into the story.
In Venom: The Last Dance, Eddie and Venom find themselves fighting to survive as they are being hunted down by Earth’s military and deadly alien creatures from Venom’s home world.
“Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest & most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo is forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance.”
