New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Poster Features Gal Gadot in Her Gold Armor

Warner Bros. has shared a new poster for DC’s upcoming film Wonder Woman 1984. It features Gal Gadot in the title role all decked out in her awesome gold armor. I also included a motion poster that was posted on Twitter. I kinda like the wild and color posters that have been created for this movie.

The sequel picks up with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) as she’s working at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C., and she lives a quiet, lonely life. After what she experienced, she’s just trying to help people who need it. Producer Charles Roven previously said:

"She has not only had the loss of [Chris Pine’s] Steve Trevor. [but] she’s lost nearly all the people that are important to her because they’re not immortal, and her life is actually quite lonely and spartan. In fact, the only joy that she gets out of it is when she’s actually doing something for people, if she can help those in need."

Things take a strange turn for her when Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) comes back, and shehas some new big bad villains to face off with, one of which is Dr. Barbara Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah (Kristen Wiig), and the other is Pedro Pascal’s villainous Maxwell Lord.

Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman, Monster) returns to direct the sequel, and the movie is set to open in theaters on June 5, 2020. Check out the poster below and let us know what you think of it!
