Nick Fury is Rumored To Be Getting His Own Series on Disney's Streaming Service

Not long ago is was announced that Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) would be getting their own standalone shows on Disney’s new streaming service. This got fans excited about the possibilities of other characters might get their own shows.

It was previously revealed that these series would focus on characters who have served as second tier characters in the MCU. Now today we’re learning from MCU Cosmic that Nick Fury could be one of those character along with another character that wasn’t revealed.

Everyone loves Nick Fury, so if this rumor turns out to be true, I’m sure that the fans will embrace it. However, we don’t know if Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role or not. I hope he does!

These upcoming Marvel shows are said to have big hefty budgets that will rival “those of a major studio production.” It’s also said that each of these limited series are expected to include six to eight episodes. Marvel Studios will also produce the shows with Kevin Feige taking a hands-on role in their development.

I’m excited to see how these shows turn out. There are a ton of great character in the Marvel universe that these shows could explore.
