Nickelodeon Renews SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS for Season 15
Nickelodeon has renewed its classic cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants Season 15, and it will consist of 26 episodes. The big announcement comes ahead of the series’ milestone 25th anniversary next year. By the time Season 15 concludes, there will be 345 total episodes since its July 1999 launch, and I imagine it won’t stop there.
In the new season, “SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Plankton and Squidward will uncover even bigger nautical adventures.” SpongeBob SquarePants voice cast members include Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeksm and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton.
This cartoon series has a huge fanbase, and the ratings are still strong. SpongeBob is more popular now than ever, and that’s why Nickelodeon wants to keep it going.
SpongeBob SquarePants was created by Stephen Hillenburg and is produced by Nickelodeon. The character-driven cartoon chronicles the nautical and sometimes nonsensical adventures of SpongeBob, an incurable optimist and earnest sea sponge, and his undersea friends.
Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller are executive producers of SpongeBob SquarePants and offshoots, The Patrick Star Show and Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years.
Seasons 1 – 12 of the series are available on Paramount+.
