Olivia Wilde Joins Pedro Pascal in Tony Gilroy’s Next Film BEHEMOTH!
Olivia Wilde has officially joined Pedro Pascal in the upcoming Searchlight Pictures film Behemoth!, a new project from writer and director Tony Gilroy, the mastermind behind Andor.
David Harbour and Eva Victor are also part of the ensemble, and while plot details are still under wraps, Gilroy has shared that the story “revolves around a cellist.” That’s all we know for now, but if you’re familiar with his storytelling style, expect something layered, emotionally charged, and possibly explosive.
The film is set to begin shooting this week in Los Angeles, with Gilroy also producing alongside Sanne Wohlenberg. Rayne Roberts and Cameron Chidsey are overseeing production for Searchlight Pictures, reporting to DanTram Nguyen and Katie Goodson-Thomas. Release details haven’t been revealed yet, but with that cast and Gilroy at the helm, this one’s going to be on everyone’s radar.
As for Wilde, she’s got a busy slate ahead. She’ll next be seen in The Invite, a project she also directed, starring alongside Seth Rogen, Penelope Cruz, and Edward Norton. She’s also appearing in Gregg Araki’s upcoming film I Want Your Sex.
Over the years, Wilde has built one of the most versatile careers in Hollywood, balancing acting and directing across genres. Her credits range from Her, Babylon, Cowboys & Aliens, and Tron: Legacy to A Vigilante and her stage performance in 1984 on Broadway.
On TV, she earned acclaim for her role in the Emmy-winning series House. Behind the camera, she impressed critics and audiences alike with her directorial work on Booksmart and Don’t Worry Darling.
