Paramount Officially Pulls TRANSFORMERS 7 From Its Release Schedule

Paramount has officially removed the tentatively titled Transformers 7 from its release schedule (via Collider), leaving some to wonder whether the film franchise might actually be rebooted following the release of the spinoff Bumblebee. This franchise reboot was reported earlier this year.

The film, which was originally set to premiere in late June of 2019, would've continued the storyline of The Last Knight, which was somewhat seen as a disappointment at the box-office despite its impressive $605.4 million take.

The number was far lower than the billion mark the two films preceding The Last Knight made, which both exceeded the billion-dollar mark internationally. Paramount is not going to let money like that just go away, so anyone wondering whether or not this means the franchise is ending can stop.

I haven't watched a Transformers films since the second one, so in my eyes, a reboot sounds like a good idea. Do you agree, or are you disappointed in this possibility?
