Pedro Pascal Confirmed to Be Starring in THE MANDALORIAN

It was already rumored that Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Wonder Woman) was cast in Lucasfilm’s upcoming live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Well, now it has been confirmed.

According to Variety, the actor has been offered the role and is now going through the negotiation process. Pascal will take on the lead role in the series as “a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

Pascal is a great actor and this would certainly be a cool role for him to play. The series is being written and produced by Jon Favreau and the story is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.

Pascal may be joining Carl Weathers (Rocky, Predator), who is also reportedly set to play a role in the series.

The series will be directed by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).

It’s also said that Howard will be in the series that Waititi will provide the voice of a droid character.

The series will premiere on Disney+ but there’s no release date yet. What are your thoughts on Pascal starring in the series?
