Pom Klementieff Wanted To Bury GUARDIANS VOL. 3 Script in Karen Gillan's Garden After James Gunn Was Fired To Keep It Secret

As you know, Marvel likes to keep their movie scripts top secret so that spoilers for their films don’t get out. There have been a few hiccups over the years in regard to this, but for the most part, they do a good job!

Well, after James Gunn was fired by Disney as the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 because some controversial jokes resurfaced from his Twitter feed, Pom Klementieff and Karen Gillan privately got together to read the script that he wrote for the film.

After they were done reading the script for the Marvel movie, Klementieff wanted to make sure that the script was safe and that no one would get their hands on it, so she wanted to bury it in Gillan’s Garden! During a recent interview with IndieWire, Klementieff shared the story, saying:

“I came over to Karen’s house and it was at a time where James Gunn was not supposed to do the movie anymore. So we decided to read the script together and we cried the whole time. We laughed at the same time, then cried again.”

Gillan added. “It was quite emotional,” and then Klementieff said she started to feel paranoid. She said:

‘We should hide the script. Maybe we should bury it in the garden. I like to hide stuff, and then I can’t find it. I’m like a squirrel. That’s one of my problems.”

Gillan confirmed all of that, saying, “She legitimately asked me to bury the Guardians of the Galaxy script in my garden. And I was like, ‘What do you mean? Put it in a cupboard or something!’”

I just can’t help but laugh at the fact that Klementieff wanted to bury the script for the Marvel movie in a garden to keep it safe! It would’ve worked, though!
