James Gunn’s Creature Commandos has been such a blast to watch! I’ve enjoyed it so much that even though the series isn’t finished, I slapped it on my Top 10 favorite TV shows of the year list.
The series continues to maintain great storytelling as it continues to play out and build on the wonderfully entertaining characters that the show revolves round.
I’m especially enjoying the story arc that’s centered on David Harbour’ss Eric Frankenstein. This has been just such a fun character and love how they brought him to life in the DCU.
Anyway, we’ve got a new promo spot to share with you for the seventh and season finale of Creature Commandos, and it’s titled “A Very Funny Monster.”
The series “tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails…they’re your last, worst option.”
The team in the series consists of a human, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein's monster, and a gorgon. The voice cast includes Sean Gunn as Weasel and GI Robot, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Maria Bakalova as Princess Ilana Rostovic, Indira Varma as The Bride, Zoe Chao as Nina Mazursky, Alan Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus, with Steve Agee reprising his role as John Economos from Peacemaker.
