Rachel McAdams in Talks To Star in Sam Raimi's Horror Thriller SEND HELP

Rachel McAdams is in talks to star in Sam Raimi‘s upcoming horror thriller Send Help, which is being produced by 20th Century Studios. The two previously worked together on Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness.

The film is described as “a two-hander horror thriller set on an island, falling somewhere between Rob Reiner’s Stephen King adaptation Misery and Robert Zemeckis’ classic Castaway.”

Send Help is based on an original script by Baywatch scribes Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. Zainab Azizi will also produce under the Raimi Productions banner, and the film is expected to nab a theatrical release.

Raimi’s most recent directing gig was Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and it’s looking like he will return to Marvel Studios to direct Doctor Strange 3.
