Ralph Fiennes Will Reportedly Star in WWI KINGSMAN Prequel
We already knew that director Matthew Vaughn was planning on expending on the Kingsman universe. Kingsman 3 is currently in development, but so are some spinoff films. We know that one of those spinoff film could be a Statesmen movie and there’s also a prequel.
According to Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, the project has cast Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson (The Darkest Minds) in the prequel film, which will reportedly take place in 1910 during World War I! I love this setting! The film is said to be titled Kingsman: The Great Game.
Kingsman 3 is said to bring a conclusion to the Harry Hart and Eggsy story arc and it’s said that it will also lay the foundation for the spinoff prequel, and will introduce two lead characters that will be featured in The Great Game. These two films are also said to be shooting back-to-back.
I’m not sure how exactly this will work, but I’m pretty excited for the future of the franchise, which also include a TV series. Out of all the projects, Kingsman: The Great Game is the one that i’m most excited about. I just love the WWI setting.
Kingsman 3 is expected to be released sometime in 2019.
