Ray Fisher Says Zack Snyder Shot Enough JUSTICE LEAGUE Footage For Two Movies

At this point we’ll probably never know what Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie would have been like. There are a lot of fans that would love to see a Snyder cut of the film and then there’s a lot of people that just don’t care at this point. Either way, Warner Bros. has no plans to release any kind of alternate Snyder cut.

Justice League is just a film that the studio would like to put behind them and forget about. But, the actors that worked on the film and the fans, won’t let them forget!

According to Ray Fisher, who played Cyborg in the movie, Snyder shot a so much footage for the film, that the filmmaker could have made two films out of it. Right now that footage is just sitting around collecting dust.

During the recent Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey, Fisher was asked about his character and who he evolved over the course of Justice League's production. Fisher said that Snyder actually had big plans for Cyborg:

“We’re not finished just yet, so I don’t know how specific the ‘end result’ is. But what I will say is Zack had very specific plans for Cyborg, and for his trajectory. And Zack probably shot enough footage in the first film to make like two movies out of. He definitely had a whole, I believe, a trilogy in mind, with respect to Justice League. And if his vision had sort of come to fruition, Cyborg would have probably been one of, if not the most powerful, metahuman in the entire canon, in the film universe. And that’s just one of the crazy things about Zack, is that he can take someone who’s such a newcomer and evolve their powers to the point where, you know, Cyborg is like 'S tier.'"

It would have been interesting to see what Snyder’s full vision of Justice League would have been like. Unfortunately, he had a terrible family tragedy and ended up stepping away from the franchise. At this point, I doubt we’ll see Snyder come back for another DC movie.

The DC films are now headed in a completely different direction and whatever plans that Snyder had for the DC franchise are no longer in play. Especially, with WB not wanting to move forward with Ben Affleck or Henry Cavill as Batman and Superman.

That’s a shame because they were both great in their roles! If that’s the case, I wonder if this Cyborg movie will ever happen. Do you think it will?
