READY OR NOT 2: HERE I COME Unleashes an Insane 8-Minute Clip and It’s Absolute Carnage
Searchlight Pictures just dropped an 8-minute clip from Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and if you thought Grace’s wedding night was rough, you haven’t seen anything yet. The clip features Samara Weaving’s Grace and Kathryn Newton’s Faith in full on brutal survival mode as they take down one of the people hunting them.
The sequel doesn’t ease you back into this twisted universe. It throws you headfirst into chaos, blood, and a power grab that makes the original look almost contained.
The story kicks in moments after Grace survives the absolute nightmare inflicted on her by the Le Domas family. But surviving that massacre wasn’t the end of the game. It was just the first level.
Now Grace discovers she’s advanced to something far more dangerous. The deadly hide-and-seek has evolved into a brutal battle for control of a secret council that literally rules the world. Four rival families are circling, and the prize is the High Seat. Whoever claims it runs everything.
And this time, Grace isn’t alone. Faith, Grace’s estranged sister, gets pulled in and their reunion happens under the worst possible circumstances, with both of them thrown into a violent struggle for survival.
Grace has one shot to keep herself alive, protect her sister, and seize control before one of the other bloodthirsty families beats her to it.
Weaving still nails that chaotic blend of panic, rage, and razor-sharp humor that made the first film such a cult favorite. Watching her scramble, fight, and snap back at the insanity around her is half the fun. Newton brings a different energy to the table, adding tension to every scene as the sisters try to trust each other while the walls close in.
The supporting cast includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, and Daniel Beirne.
The movie is once again co-directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo known as Radio Silence, with a screenplay from Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, who also wrote the first film.
What made Ready or Not so great was its mix of savage horror and dark comedy. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come looks like it’s keeping that DNA intact while expanding the mythology in a big way. Instead of one cursed mansion, we’re dealing with a global power structure fueled by blood rituals and ruthless ambition.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come hits theaters nationwide on March 20, 2026. Get ready for another round.
