Red-Band Trailer For Sydney Sweeney's Religious Horror Movie IMMACULATE

Neon has released the first trailer for Sydney Sweeney’s upcoming religious horror movie Immaculate. The film follows a nun named Cecilia, “a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent.”

But, it’s explained that her “warm welcome to the picture-perfect Italian countryside is soon interrupted as it becomes clearer to Cecilia that her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets.” Yep, her experience turns into a complete nightmare for her.

This seems like a generic horror movie. Judging from the trailer, there’s nothing really unique or different about it. I guess the main draw is that it’s something for fans of Sydney Sweeney to watch.

Immaculate was directed by Michael Mohan (The Voyeurs) from a script by Andrew Lobel. Sweeney stars in the film alongside Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus), Alvaro Morte (Money Heist), Benedetta Porcaroli (Baby), and Dora Romano (The Hand of God).

Sweeney developed the project alongside David Bernad and it will be released on March 22, 2024.
