Reed Morano Should Direct SUPERGIRL According to Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning

We’ve already heard rumors of director Reed Morano helming a Star Wars film, why wouldn’t DC want her talent as well? With rumors going on that Warner Bros. and DC are going to be making a big push for Supergirl, everyone’s thinking of who will be in charge of the project and Morano’s name is one that pops up a lot. Morano just directed I Think We’re Alone Now and the stars of that film, Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning, think Morano would be great for the famous heroine.

Dinklage mentioned that it’s all just rumors, but goes on to say:

“I just heard about it today, but stranger things have happened out of rumors. Could be fun to start rumors and make a movie! Reed is just a beautiful cinematographer and director.”

Fanning added to the praise stating:

“Reed is someone who is so inspiring when you watch her, just her abundance of artistic talent and how she can juggle so many things … I’m open to [her directing Supergirl], sure!”

Morano has said there have been no calls from WB, but she won’t say no:

“I don’t know if it’s really a thing, [but] I like the idea of doing something new every time, so I don’t say no to any idea. I’m always thinking [how] I can bring something new to the table that still feels authentic to the story, not [doing something] just for the sake of doing something new. But if there’s a reason for me to do [Supergirl] in particular, then I would like to do it.”
