Ridley Scott's ALIEN Is Returning to Theaters for Its 45th Anniversary!
In celebration of the 45th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s 1979 sci-fi horror classic Alien, the movie will return to theaters for a limited time on Alien Day on April 26th.
So, if you’ve never had the opportunity to watch Alien on the big screen, the opportunity is coming, and you should take advantage of it!
The story is set on the commercial space tug Nostromo, whose crew is awakened from hypersleep to investigate a distress call from a nearby moon. Upon exploration, they encounter a mysterious alien lifeform that begins to stalk and kill the crew members one by one.
The film masterfully builds suspense and terror through its claustrophobic setting and the menacing presence of the xenomorph creature.
Alien stars Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm, and Yaphet Kotto.
Scott directed the film from a screenplay by Dan O’Bannon and a story by Ronald Shusett, and the producers are Gordon Carroll, David Giler, and Walter Hill.
Tickets are now available for purchase at Fandango or wherever tickets are sold. You can watch a promo trailer for the re-release below.
