Robert Downey Jr. Might Be Joining Christopher Nolan's Next Movie After THE ODYSSEY
It looks like there’s a chance that Robert Downey Jr. may be reteaming with Christopher Nolan for his next movie after The Odyssey.
According to a production weekly listing, Nolan is in early development another project titled Die Early, and Downey Jr. is said to be taking on the lead role.
The new listing says that the rumored film will be produced by Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas’ production company, Syncopy. Additionally, Nolan is named as the director of the project.
There’s no confirmation of this, but after Nolan and Downey Jr. worked together on Oppenheimer, it wouldn’t surprise me that the two would want to team up again for another big project.
Robert Downey Jr. has a pretty packed schedule as he is preparing for his return to the MCU as Doctor Doom. But, if he wants to work with Nolan again, I’m sure that he’ll make his schedule work.
If this is all true, then Die Early will be Nolan’s next film project after The Odyssey is released in 2026. According to the listing, the movie is described as “a mind-bending high concept thriller.”
