Robert Downey Jr. Reportedly Spotted on the Set of Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD
For the most part, Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World is shrouded in mystery. Now a new report has surfaced saying that Robert Downey Jr. was spotted on the set of the film.
In a recent post on LinkedIn, Nawar Shora, a keynote speaker, shared a photo of himself around the set of the film in Washington, D.C. Shora that while he was there he spoke with a few of the security guards, who told him that Robert Downey Jr. had actually been on set the night before and that everyone was “driving all sorts of supercars.”
There’s no confirmation that Downey Jr. is in the film, but since Tony Stark is dead, if Downey Jr. was there, he most likely just showed up to visit and say hi to some old friends. Production on the Anthony Mackie film officially wrapped last week.
I seriously doubt that Downey Jr. is reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man. But, who knows… crazier things have happened and anything is possible in the MCU.
Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) is set to direct the film from a script penned by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, both of whom wrote for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Captain America: Brave New World is set to release next year on July 26, 2024.
