Robert Zemeckis, Sam Raimi, and Matthew Vaughn Up For THE FLASH Director Job!
The Flash has already gone through a couple directors who have up and left the project while developing it. Warner Bros. is out on the hunt for a big game director this time around for the film and according to Variety, the current top choices for the job are Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future), Sam Raimi (Spider-Man), and Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman).
This a fantastic list of directors! I'm a fan of all of them and I'd be happy to see any one of them land the gig. Each one has such a very unique film-making style and I think they would all do an amazing job directing The Flash in their own way.
According to the report, Robert Zemeckis is their number one choice. It was previously rumored that he was up for the gig and now it looks like there's a strong possibility that he could land it!
Now, if I had to choose one director out of this lineup, I'd have to go with Zemeckis. He's just got what it takes as a filmmaker to tell the best story possible with his extensive VFX background and experience. My second choice would be Raimi because I'm a huge fan and I've been wanting to see him direct another superhero movie! I'd love to see what he would do with The Flash. As for Vaughn, there's no doubt he would give us something kickass. I just think that Zemekis is the best all-around great director.
Who would you like to see direct The Flash out of these three choices?
