Last week it was announced that Deadpool 2 director David Leitch was going to be directing Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham's Fast and Furious spinoff film that will focus on Hobbs and Shaw. Ryan Reynolds now wants Deadpool to be in on that action and in a reply to the directors confirmation tweet, Reynolds laid out a concept of how one of his scenes would play out.
You promised Deadpool was in this. You said I get to play the no-nonsense Police Chief, who yells at Hobbs for crashing his 58 valve Nissan Sentra into an Olive Garden. Put me in coach.— Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) April 12, 2018
I know there's not a chance in hell that Deadpool would show up in this Hobbs and Shaw movie, but there is always the chance that Ryan Reynolds could, and that is definitely the next best thing!
The script for the film will be written by Chris Morgan, who has penned six installments of the franchise, including the most recent, The Fate of the Furious.
The Hobbs and Shaw film is set to be released on July 26, 2019. Would you want to see Reynolds appear in the film?
