Sacha Baron Cohen Reportedly Cast as Mephisto in Marvel's IRONHEART Series
As Marvel fans watched Marvel’s WandaVision on Disney+, fans kept seeing clues that Mephisto might make his big MCU debut, but it never happened! Since then fans have been wondering when Mephisto would actually make his big debut.
Well, according to a recent rumor, Mephisto will finally be introduced in Marvel’s upcoming Ironheart series and he will be played by Sacha Baron Cohen. Now, there’s no confirmation of this, but if it is true, Cohen is pretty spot-on casting!
The rumors have been spreading on Twitter and it will be interesting to see if this actually turns out to be true. If it is, I’m curious to see how he’ll be implemented into this story.
Mephisto is one of the many Hell-Lords in the Marvel Universe. He’s a sadistic, cruel, and dangerous extra-dimensional demon with unknown origins, and he’s incredibly powerful. Based on Mephistopheles, a demon from the Faust legend, Mephisto is known for stealing souls and torturing them in his hell-like dimension. He can also manipulate a ton of different things through his magical abilities which include shapeshifting, project illusions, altering time, and more.
What do you think about this? Would you like to see Sacha Baron Cohen play Mephisto in Ironheart?
