Sadie Sink Officially Cast in Marvel's SPIDER-MAN 4, but Who Is She Playing?

The next chapter of the Spider-Man franchise is gearing up, and Stranger Things star Sadie Sink has officially joined Toim Holland in the movie, which is set to begin filming later this year.

The big question is, who is Sink playing? There have been reports that she was up for the role of X-Men’s Jean Grey, a character fans have been eager to see introduced to the MCU. It would be interesting to see her introduced in a Spider-Man movie.

But, there’s also speculation that she could be playing a classic Spider-Man character, like Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy, or even Felicia Hardy.

Whoever she’s playing, it’s will be a key role with some weight. Given how Spider-Man: No Way Home ended, with Peter Parker choosing to erase himself from the memories of those he loves, this new film is expected to introduce fresh faces while phasing out some of Holland’s past co-stars.

Sink is the first major addition to the ensemble. Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is directing, with longtime Spider-Man producers Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige overseeing the project.

Holland is currently in production on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, but once that wraps, he’ll be swinging back into action as Peter Parker.

As for Sink, this marks a major step forward following her breakout role as Max in Stranger Things, with the final season of the hit Netflix series set to bring her story to a close. Now, she’s leaping into the Marvel universe, just how big her role will be remains to be seen.

Who would you like to see Sink play in Spider-Man 4?
