Sam Raimi-Directed Horror Film HELP ME Gets a 2026 Release Date

Sam Raimi is back in the director’s chair for a new horror film titled Send Help, and it was just announced that 20th Century Studios will released the film in theaters on January 30, 2026.

I’m excited to see Raimi jump back into the horror genre as a director! The movie starsRachel McAdams (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), Dylan O’Brien (Love and Monsters), with Dennis Haysbert and Chris Pang.

The film is “a survival horror thriller about two colleagues (O’Brien and McAdams) who become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash.

“On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.”

Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th 2009) wrote the screenplay. Raimi will produce alongside Zainab Azizi under Raimi Productions.

Raimi most recently directed Marvel’s supernatural-heavy sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but he hasn’t directed a full-on horror movie of his own since Drag Me to Hell. So, I can’t wait to see what he does with Help Me.
