Samara Weaving Is Attacked by a Woman with a Meat Cleaver in First Clip From AZRAEL
The first clip has been released for the upcoming horror survival thriller Azrael. The clip is called “Surprise Attack,” and it features Samara Weaving wielding a machete as she is attacked.
This looks like it’s going to be an extremely intense movie, and the scene finds Weaving in a situation that has her desperately fighting for her life as another young woman slashes at her with a meat cleaver.
The description for Azrael reads: "In a world in which no one speaks, a mysterious, devout community hunts down a young woman named Azrael (Weaving) who has escaped their imprisonment.
“Recaptured by its ruthless leaders, she is to be sacrificed to pacify an evil which resides deep within the surrounding wilderness – but Azrael will stop at nothing to ensure her own freedom and survival.
“From the seeds of this gritty, relentless parable of sacrifice and salvation, comes an immersive, real-time, action horror tale from the visionary minds of Simon Barrett and E.L. Katz."
The movie will be released in select theaters on September 27th.
