Samara Weaving Set To Star in The Heist Thriller EENIE MEANIE From The Co-Creator of THE CONTINENTAL
Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) is set to star in a new heist thriller film titled Eenie Meanie. The movie is being written and directed by Shawn Simmons, co-creator of the John Wick spinoff series The Continental. The film is set up at 20th Century Studios with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool) producing.
The movie is said to be in the vein of Baby Driver, and the story follows “a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavory past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend.”
That sounds like a fun project for Weaving, who will next be seen in the comedic thriller Borderline. She also starred in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers and appeared in Scream VI. Some of her other upcoming projects include the 80s-set action thriller Bella and the horror action movie Azrael.
According to the report, the project will likely premiere on Hulu.
