SCREAM 7 Unleashes a Brutal New Clip and Chilling Posters as Tickets Officially Go on Sale
Tickets for Scream 7 are officially on sale, and to celebrate, the studio decided to traumatize us a little early. A brand-new clip has dropped online, along with a slick batch of posters.
The new clip was released through Fandango and it was paired with the ominous caption, “Ghostface returns. The killing begins,” which pretty much sets the tone. What follows feels like classic Scream tension turned up to an uncomfortable level.
The scene centers on a character played by Michelle Randolph, who answers a phone call thinking it’s from her boyfriend, Scott. When she asks why he called, the voice on the other end shuts that down fast with, “It’s not Scott. You’re going to die tonight.”
Instead of panicking right away, she fires back with sarcasm, joking that the caller’s scary voice is “sexy” but still needs work. It’s the kind of dark humor the franchise thrives on, right before everything goes very wrong.
Things escalate quickly when Ghostface enters the scene. Randolph’s character is caught off guard but fights back hard, shoving the killer away and bolting for the stairs.
What follows is a frantic struggle on the staircase that ends with both of them crashing over the railing. Ghostface slams into the floor below, while she’s left dangling from the ceiling lights, swinging and barely holding on.
As her grip fails, the killer calmly positions the knife beneath her, waiting for gravity to finish the job. It’s tense, mean, and nerve-racking.
With Scream 7 hitting theaters later this month, this early look does exactly what it should. It cranks up the anxiety, reminds fans why Ghostface remains one of horror’s most sadistic icons, and signals that this sequel isn’t pulling punches.
Scream 7 hits theaters on February 27, 2026. Kevin Williamson, who wrote the first two Scream movies as well as the fourth, directed the film from his and Guy Busick’s screenplay.
